We ate a a few other places off-site. We ate at the beach restaurant at the Fairmont nearby (Browns Beach house). We also dined at Merrimans in a nearby village, and at the Kona Brewing Company for lunch.
All of these have some merit. We just like variety in dining so don't like to re-visit the same places that much. We did eat at the Grill multiple times for lunch, however, but tried to mix up the dinners each night (or ear in our villa with local produce).
I can't say any of those are MUST VISIT, but if you like variety and exploring a bit more food options, a car helps.
The main dinner restaurant at FS was nice as well.
Thanks a lot for the information. How far is the Fairmont? Is there a store with local produce nearby?
