Agree wholeheartedly. With all the suite chains out there, it hasn't been obvious to associate Summerfield Suites with Hyatt. This distinguishes them.
And I agree that Hyatt Inn would have been much more appropriate, particularly in accomplishing what the release says Hyatt intends -- e.g., a "warm" connotation. Hyatt "House" not nearly so much. It does sound kind of like a restaurant.
And this decision, or just the announcement, seems like a somewhat awkward staggered step. They might have got more bang for the buck if they'd bundled it with the recent announcement of the major acquisitions that will go into this chain. Especially since, if I'm not mistaken, some of the features that the announcement leads with will involve modification of some current Summerfields to be like the acquisitions. I could be wrong on the last point, though.
