I am a Delta DM but a BA newbie, having accumulated BA miles through the 100k miles credit card promotion. I have an opportunity to add more miles to my BA account which would give me enough for a RT business class seat from LAX to Australia on Qantas.

Question: are such award seats readily available? If not, I will not add those miles to BA and I will add them to my Delta account and fly V Australia.
