Hyatt's extended-stay overhaul centers on creating social gathering places, including the made-to-order breakfast station in each Hyatt House's "great lounge," the fire pit on its patio, and the multiuse island in its suites ... Other changes include expanding the hotels' fitness centers by an average of 30% to add more exercise equipment and rescheduling the daily manager's reception with free drinks to later in the evening. Hyatt intends to have the Hyatt House brand replace Summerfield Suites and Sierra by January.
