this happened many many years ago...
probably about 10-12 years ago.
back then my dad always flew HKG-YVR on CX.
i think at that time the route was still
flown by 742 before they replaced it with
744s. my dad said the 742 had some engines
problems and took off with 2 engines and
flew all the way to Japan before the other
2 engines couldn't operate. CX got some
of the passengeres to HKG on another CX
flight in Japan but there wasn't enough
space for everyone. i was about 9 or 10
years old at that time.
anyways is it plausible that a 747 can fly
with only 2 engines?
