I think X is a deep discount economy fare used by the Lan Ecuador (XL)system. The only time I have ever seen it was when I had a $400 RT ticket from LIM-JFK (via GYE) with LanEcuador. Caused me some anxiety when the miles didn't automatically get credited to my FF account and I couldn't figure out if X class was excluded from mileage earning. (After sending a request to AA and waiting for 3 months, the miles finally did appear.)
Makes sense, deep discount, but also on other LAN international routes:
