Hello There,
I am planning to use my AA miles to fly CX business class to HK from Columbus, OH next January. I am very excited about it because it will be my very first real business class experience. I would like to get some advices from the veteran premium class travellers on this site.
1. Which CX gateway citie has the best CX or CX partners' lounge? Which lounges have shower facility for business class?
2. Can I go through Toronto or Vancouver with my AAvantage free ticket?
3. Am I allowed to fly first class on AA to connect my CX flight? If so, is there a particular AA flight to the gateway cities that has the best first or business class service?
Thank you in advance!

1) YVR is small but functional. Good refreshments. No shower. JFK is best (BA lounge), IMHO. Large lounge with several areas for refreshments. Nice shower facilities. I think they are opening up a spa. Plenty of computer kiosks.

2) Yes.

3) I'm not qualified to say.
