Hi FTers

I leave for EZE in a couple days and was curious whether I would receive upgrades on the domestic portion of my flight.

I will fly IAH-SFO-LAX-IAH-EZE going and EZE-IAD-SEA-IAH returning (i'm throwing in a mini MR while at it).

When I last went to HK I posed the same question for a CO agent and was told they don't upgrade on the domestic portion.

Is this true? Is there some way around it? I understand the EZE portion not being upgraded, but don't understand the domestic portion when there are many seats open up front.


FYI: I am on alternating UA/CO metal (UA website shows upgrades as pending)
