am unable to book my desired flight with the entire ticket on AC or Air NZ for that matter

they aren't allowed to apparently

this is after a few phone calls for total 1 hour or so talking time to AC and Air NZ phone reservation people

not wanting to risk flight interruptions and be in trouble
