Cool ride report thanks OP
Ever since I saw these driving around in the USA I wanted to rent one. Must be because I grew up with the Dukes of Hazard!
I finally got around to renting one this year, only cost $35 a day (and yes it qualified as a standard full size)
Great looking car and a super modern twist on a classic, I think they pulled the styling off perfectly. But boy was I also amazed at how slow it was, a 3.6 litre engine and supposed 292bhp, they must have made it out of lead for it to be so sluggish. As for handling it had all the grace and finesse that I would imagine one would dispose of when driving a Victorian dining room.
Now that FIAT own Chrysler I look forward to them shaving a tonne or two of excess weight off it and putting the Alfa Romeo 3.0 V6 in it. Doubt it will happen though
