The C club is a bit quieter and more "classic" in decor. I prefer it. There are more subdued areas.

With that said, MSP is my home base, so not quite as familiar with most of the criteria you discuss. I normally hit up the club for a quick coffee and bagel in the morning, and both do fine for that particular use. Crowding is not normally an issue at that time of day, and I'm not checking out the bourbon.
