Techgirl (hi honey!) got the point totally right, and the reasons you guys are pushing for GB to do it are oh, so transparent.
Please remember that the criticism is directed towards AsiaMiles and not CX. And while I think we all agree that CX is arguably one of the world's best airline, it also faces some serious issues with it's FFP.
Oh, and before I forget, posting on an IBB like FT does not make tactlessness acceptable.
