On A333, the New J cabin has 2 sections. Each of them containing only about 3 rows, which are seperated by a large galley. From the usual standpoints, avoid the last row (don't ask me the row no, I forgot), because it's only seperated by a small wall from Y-cabin. That means noise and lights will leak through. If my memory is correct, the layout is 2-2-2, so if you don't want someone climbing over, then go for middle seats. BUT, I feel that it's easy to climb over someone on their new J-seats (the seat in the front does not "fall back", if you know what I mean).
I would say request the most forward seat. IT's always a sure bet...
