I wonder if breaking up the flights would help?

little_1780 is cool on domestic flights. However, he always seems to get sick on the ORD-OGG/HNL flight. He's cool on the way back, but we are forced to stop at LAX/SFO.

Maybe try going China-TYO/KIX/GUM/HNL-USA?
