I was offered FC on my return from CLT last week for 1.5 hour flight for $99. I figured it was a lot less than hitting the BS button at WN. I have no status on US so I got to keep my bag fee. There were the free drinks, figure $10, early boarding, another $10 so I figured I paid $55 for the bigger seat and the experience. I had work to do, and the seat space allowed me to do that. I figure it was worth the $99 but not much more.

By the way, no WT on US but they had Jack Daniels, of course, everyone does. I ordered mine straight as usual and was brought a cup almost 3/4 full. Good thing I was not driving home.

Yes, FC is nice. I wish I could get FC on WN, but we can't. I wish I flew enough to the places where I could earn status on another airline, but I do not, I fly out of BNA. And when you fly out of BNA to non-hub cities, WN is the game.
