I booked an AA domestic flight using BA miles. The reservation isn't showing up under my account but will pull up with the locator. However, it doesn't give me the expanded selection of seats to choose from. I think because my BAEC number is in there (and it won't let me switch it). I have seats but not very good ones. I called the Gold Desk and they tried to manually assign seats but then came back and said I would have to call BA to do it.
Is there a way to attach my Gold status to this reservation, both for seats and bags?
