That's an absurd view. Not rooting for failure but for improvement. The poor economy is no reason to tolerate Colgan's lapses. Would you opt to eat hot dogs from a supplier known for e.coli outbreaks because of the "poor economy"?

Quite right. The mainline carriers are enabling Colgan's bad behavior. Happy to have their livery on the planes, so they can claim they serve East Overshoe, until something happens... when they fall all over themselves to emphasize that was Colgan, Colgan, Colgan that screwed up.
