Simple Home Networking using both wireless and wifi

I am buying a town house which has 3 floors in it. It is pre-wired with Ethernet connections on all floors, which is great. My service provider is the local cable company (Time Warner) and I believe that all that exists currently is the ehternet wiring. I have a wifi router now, but I'd like my ethernet connections and wifi to be on the same network so anywhere and everwhere throughout the home, weather wifi or wired, we will have internet connectivity. What am I going to need to hook up the broadband modem to? A hub which will then connect both to the wired network and also a wireless router? And will I need to have repeaters for the wifi or access points hooked up to ethernet connectiosn to ensure connectivity everywhere while on the same network? I'm a linksys user but not limited to anyone. I want to make this as simple and cost-effective as possible, but I also want the coverage. Thoughts welcome.
