Both of which are statistically insignificant...
Still, I think it is accurate to write that there is an issue with Colgan, not only in light of the injury accidents, but many other issues, culminating in the whopping $2 million fine by the F.A.A.
Ultimately, though, a substantial part of the responsibility resides with CO, without which Colgan would lose a significant part of its business (although they also operate as US Airways and United Express).
All three of these mainline airlines should insist that Colgan respect minimum safety standards or face losing their contracts.
Finally, Colgan is owned by Pinnacle Airlines, which is planning to phase out the Colgan name...
