It normally costs $20++ per person for breakfast in a nice hotel in Asia. Of course dinner is even more expensive. I would have valued lounge access as being even greater than $50 per day except you can often buy lounge access or reserve a club room for about that much.

BLG, I wouldn't go for Platinum status (unless you want the soft landing two years from now) since it doesn't get you much more than Gold.
