If you have elite status, these perks are also, like the MP Explorer card, mostly useless with the exception of lounge access. I currently don't hold a lounge membership as it only provides value to me domestically (since I have access for international travel due to status). Even if the lounge access were worth it, it'd be cheaper for me to buy a membership directly with the elite discount.
