As a regular user of Expertflyer and checking for availability, especially V class for longhaul reward travel, I have noticed recently that, on some flights, there are a reduced number of fare buckets. Somtimes there are lots of buckets missing!

example:

I am coming home on this flight:

F3 A2 J9 C9 D4 W9 E9 T9 Y9 B8 H8 K7 M7 L5 V4 S2 N2 Q1 G0

The later flight (also a 747) only has these buckets

F4 A4 J9 C9 D6 W9 E7 T7 Y6 B6 H6 K4 M3 L1 G0

Is this something new ? or is it a feature in Expertflyer. I thought it may be because the app only displays buckets that are not zero but have also seen Y0 H0 so not sure.
