That is not really true! Alize class is actually the same as AF Premium Voyageur. This product is far more superior to EC+, because:
- separate cabin
- hard shell seats with 40% more legroom and pitch is more
- pre-boarding same as C class
- Check-in via Business Desks and priority luggage.
So far more then just a few inches on a EC+ seat.
For FB members an upgrade to C is around 32500 for overseas, premium eco/alize is around 19500. Don't know how this works for SkyMiles
I've flown Alize from the Caribbean to CDG and it was a good flight. Back then they even had the choice of 2 C-class dinners, but I think that's gone now. In the end it's more C class experience on the ground (no lounge access though), but in flight more Y class service and seat wise.
I would spend the (in comparison) few extra miles to fly Alize then eco!
