Go to the desk and ask for the current WEP codes, these are 40bit (5 digit) codes that you have to enter into the Wireless Client manager or WindowsXP wireless settings. After that you can go online right away. By using DHCP all the other network settings are loaded automatically so you don't need to do anything else.
