I value the CW package as a whole.
I like to spend as little time as possible in airports so I prefer to eat and drink on board where I have the time to relax and enjoy it so onboard food and drink is important to me.
Sleeping onboard is not that important to me (Sorry Swanhunter!) but whether I am sleeping or not, I enjoy the comfort of the CW seat.
I do carry a laptop, sometimes two, but I prefer to keep things simple and watch IFE. (BA: Hurry up and have AVOD that works on all flights!) I would rather watch something than read when I fly.
As previously stated, I don't plan long waits in airport lounges but in what time I do spend there, I appreciate the facilities. I like the spacious, private bathrooms. I like the comparative serenity. (Although on occasions at T4, I took refuge in Garfunkel's to escape the overcrowded mayhem in the lounge.) If I have time, I enjoy a drink, more often than not non alcoholic, and a piece of fruitcake. The lounge comes into its own when flights are delayed or cancelled. The only time I have eaten a meal in a lounge at LHR was during a delay last year and I really appreciated the available hot food, especially as the terminal restaurants were closing.
Finally the service. When it's good it's very, very good but when it's bad it's horrid. I think a good crew providing excellent service can make or break a journey. I've walked away from flights with broken foot stools, broken IFE and lousy food but the crew were so fantastic it still felt like a good flight. And vice versa.
Sorry, it's like asking me which of my children I love most.
It's a complete package - I value it all.
