I believe the OP makes a good point. It would be a very good marketing initiative to 'warn' card holders that they have just 30 more days to acquire x-amount of TPs to retain their level. My suggestion to the OP would be to give this advice in a very positive way to BA in a real letter without asking for leniency in his particular case.
If the BA apologists would control themselves for a while we could maybe discuss the pros and cons of that marketing ploy.
I agree that the idea is a very good one.
It would not be difficult or expensive to set up the computer systems to do this.
