This HAS got to be a wind up right ?

It's BA's fault that you didn't renew your silver ? Should BA reward you for your lack of loyalty/spend that this year hasn't re-qualified for Silver ? Should BA waive the rule for everyone ?

We do seem to live in a culture these days where everything is someone else's fault, and we don't want to take responsibility for our actions.

Your BA Silver status was clearly very important to you. However clearly NOT important enough to you to (every time you log into ba.com) see the date of expiry clearly displayed on the FRONT page. It's not like they hide it.

I'm sure you're very frustrated, and annoyed with yourself, but seriously.... a long rant like that. I'm only hoping that you'll come back to this thread having eaten a large slice of humble pie, and thought about the facts.
