Welcome to FT deluca_smith. While I have some sympathy for your situation, I'm sure you realise that there isn't someone in BAEC who's monitoring accounts, looking to see what people did in the past, and what they've got planned, working out whether they'll requalify. Its all done by them fancy computers nowadays.

The one thing BA could have potentially done is offer to extend your BAEC for you to take that flight, but if more than a few weeks had elapsed (and I guess it had since you got your Blue card) then you just have to accept you were at fault here.

And if you earn TPs like you say you do, why not suffer the pain for a few months and simply requalify again? Unless you've identified a better airline/FF program for the routes you fly, I think you're being short-sighted in saying you'll never fly BA again.

Did you actually send this "Open Letter" to BA? If so, please do share any response you get.
