Nutty pricing? Amen
Just had to book a flight CLE-EUG and it turned out that a Z fare was cheaper by $100 than a U fare (both non-refundable!). The refundable B-up fare was $1000 more expensive ?????
Furthermore, the same fare for the same initial flights vary by hundreds of dollars depending upon when you want to arrive at your destination (later connection, save money).
I feel your pain. How do I explain to my client that it is cheaper to fly F than Y? Unfortunately, they don't care. Go figure.
