I wouldn't get carried away with car hire redemptions. They rarely include the insurance, which would leave you better off booking a cheap all-inclusive deal anyway.

Assuming BA simply pays cash for the hotels, you should find all hotels included. The AA 'redeem for hotels' option is basically a 'white label' version of Expedia / Opodo.
