Aha! This resort has done right.

While they won't honor the exact original rate, we are booked into a suite/cottage for the regular base rate that they charge for their entry level room. Plus, we get to keep the spa package for all four nights.

Basically, it will cost us an extra few hundred bucks.

THAT is great service and we'll be sure to tip extra well during our stay.
