ICN is a hub for KE and OZ but LHR is also a hub for BA (captain obvious here) so BA needn't cater purely for the LHR-ICN market but also MAD/CDG/AMS/FRA-ICN markets.
LON is not the best geographically located hub for North Asia - European transiting passengers. CPH, HEL, AMS all make better sense.
Hence the main traffic would be O&D passengers. South Korea is not the biggest market to/from UK, and there are competition to go through PEK/NRT. OZ puts a 777 and I think KE uses a 747?
