I had 2 prepaid Starpicks reses 2 weeks ago and had booked both at least 1 month before the stay if not longer. Yet my CC wasnt charged until I checked in. Had the samething in Sydney which ended up going against me the US$ went down and thusly it cost me more but it could have ben in my favor just the same.

So I agree it should be then and there that the Hotel processes the charge I find in many cases its not until the person checks-in or a day before the stay

Got that right now where I CXed a C&P res since it turns out its apx $80 more to simply purchase the stay and save the 12k in pts, yet would love to know if I purchase the prepaid that my CC would be charged then and there
