But was she referring to bookings made under BAEC, Airmiles or both? She only has responsibility (I believe) for BAEC and if that's all she was referring to, then it does not state that some Airmiles bookings might still book into revenue classes.
You don't think this board would be all over Airmiles bookings if they know they have a chance to get a revenue booking with TPs and miles?
We'll have to wait and see, but I don't think it can be stated as fact that this loophole will still exist.
I would have thought BA would take this opportunity to streamline their booking centre and IT systems - why have two sets of systems/teams that will effectively be doing the same thing come November/December. Indeed, I believe the initial announce said there may be some job losses.
