I'm heading to Brussels in December and locked in on a killer rate at the Aloft. For the first time ever, I opted to go for a prepaid rate.

I made the reservation, received a confirmation email but three days later, still have not seen a charge come through on my card.

Should I assume there is a glitch and the charge have gone through already or do properties wait until a week or day of arrival before billing? Does the policy vary from one SPG to another?
