A 1 hour conneection time is definitely not enough at the LCCT. You need at least 2 hours. Also, you need to take into account any delays on your arriving flight and the queues at the LCCT.
I agree with the poster above. Check MAS and, if their fares are only a little more more, it is well worth it to transit through KLIA. It will be a far less painful experience and you'll be able to check in all the way through to your final destination.
