California Court Rejects Claims By Dismissed Cathay Pacific
A California court has thrown out claims made by former Cathay Pacific Airways pilots that they were wrongfully dismissed by the airline, the Hong Kong based carrier said in a statement.
The judge ruled that the nine former Cathay pilots should take their cases to Hong Kong if they wanted to pursue them further, the statement released late on Saturday said.
Cathay claimed this was their second legal victory in two days after a judge on Friday threw out Cathay First Officer Murray Gardner's attempt to block the firm implementing new roster practices introduced in August 2001.
