Another drawback of the YVR route is the 2 hour connecting time with HKG-DEL flight. Aircraft are making a fuel-stop in TPE due to strong head-winds on trans-Pacific fligths. This adds an hour or two to the flight time and make the connection very tight. Further you will not be able to enjoy the Wings lounge.
