I just spoke to CX in Japan regarding Asia Miles; having no knowledge of it at all. I was told that Asia miles solely deposits CX earned miles only and require 30,000 miles of CX only flights just to be silver. Does not seem like a good deal to me.....

Thank you for your comments. I now like to study alittle more about BAEC USA. Or should I just stick with AA and hope of AA/BA alliance to be approved?
