Angry IHG CARE...Can somebody assist me plase ASAP?

Dear IHG Care Team,

I have checked in yesterday at Holiday Inn Paris Opera-Grands Boulevards and surprisingly I found out that this Hotel couldn’t secure the credit card payment when the reservation was made 3 weeks ago and hence cancelled my reservation without informing me and the Hotel manager asked me to check-in with the Best available rate rather than the rate I booked earlier which was the Book early and save.Untill this moment I havent received any cancellation mails from the Hotel..Only a "Welcome to Paris" Mail from them 3 days ago !!!

It’s not acceptable by any means that the argument of the Hotel manger is that they tried to call me on the following number "123713500" and that she doesnt care if the number is doesnt seem correct. This is not a normal phone number on this planet and if they had showed some care for a platinum member or any other normal guest, they should have at least sent me an e-mail explaining the situation and asking for a new credit card or to solve the issue with the current one For the record this is not the number on my PC account.It is not my responsibility to secure their payments and I its not the case where I paied with a credit card that doesnt have enough Balance !!

This is FRAUD !!


After many international phone calls with IHG care (valuing in total more than 100 USD) and running after a thief on the street to returnin my bag he stole from the reception of the hotel infront of the receiptionist in the absence of any security personel or any move from the receipionist who seemed very very very calm as if nothing happened, I decided to check-in upon advice of the IHG care representative until they check this rate problem with them.

I was forced to pay the full money pre check-in and they put me in a single wheel chair ready room with malfunctioning AC and after shouting at them at 3 am in the morning because I couldnt sleep in the sauna,all of the sudden they found a room with a working AC although it was signle and my reservation is for double I moved. It looks like the hotel intended to cancel the reservation to sell it at a higher rate during this busy time of the year !!

I not only paid the Best Available rate but they also informed me that i might have to leave today becasue they don't have any room for me.The receiptionists tell me we dont have time to waste with you...WHAT IS THIS KIND OF SERVICE ??? THIS IS NO A HOLIDAY INN THIS IS A MOTEL !!



IHG Care team, I’m here for Business and my history does show that I’ve been very loyal for this Hotel Group because I know I would get a support once I have a problem but I have never experienced such situation with any hotel brand before. The IHG Care team called them already twice yesterday and nothing changed, these guys are way below par.

Please Act and Act fast.
