Can I suggest that you approach one of the forum moderators with this request and get it legitimized (by supplying some proof of your thesis work etc.) before proceeding? Some people may answer your questions, some people may not and some may give you totally unrelated comments thinking you are a fraud or spammer.

Also, if this is supposed to be convenient for the person filling in the survey and easy to tabulate the results later on then you may want to think about designing a proper survey provioding answer choices and using tools like surveymonkey or so. This way people won't have to reply to a post with 24 almost free format questions after 5 of which they will get tired. Just some thoughts, your call in the end, but i think it will increase the chances of good response rates significantly.
