I was following up on missing mileage from Hilton properties in Munich and Vienna today. Kind of a pain, and suprising since my receipts said that mileage was credited. I' m wondering since I was travelling in Europe with my family, and had to get two rooms.. yup you have to get two rooms if you have 3 kids if that somehow messed up the mileage credit. At any rate I called the diamond desk today at 4:00 and they posted the Munich credit. Then I just called at 7:30 PM and they had to get approval from a Supervisor which would be tommorow to get my Vienna credit applied. I told them that was ridiculous they pulled up the Folio, it wasn't some partner credit but their own hotels and they couldn't do it. Lesson learned Diamond Desk is a waste of time after hours ( not to mention that the ones answering the phone don't sound very switched on either). Very dissapointing indeed as now I have to call and waste time with this tommorow...
