checking a bag with a long layover - sensible or crazy?
I'm looking at an itin that would have me fly BOS-LGA (9hr layover to attend a meeting downtown) then LGA-ORD-LAS that evening.
Rather than drag my case around town and to the meeting, I'm thinking I might check it through. Is that asking for trouble, as it'll have to be left relatively unsecure with just a TSA padlock on there.
I'll have medication with me but am just thinking I won't get to LAS until midnight which isn't a great time to find your bags aren't there.
Am I being paranoid????
Thanks in advance
