Look at the LHR-DEL / LHR-BOM / LHR- BLR fares and compare them to the LHR - SYD fares and reduce to £ per miles, you will find that it is relative uneconomic for BA to invest in their planes flying on to SYD for the increased time, fuel and staff costs.
