Flew AF's A380 IAD-CDG-vv recently, got home yesterday. L'Espace is essentially the same as on 773/772, except that the galleys in between the two J cabins are very crowded, always tons of FA's there and the lavs in use. OTOH, the space at the front of the Upper Deck is totally wasted space. The little monitors with "cultural" stuff didn't even work on my flights, and the space was barely used. I have never seen such a large amount of space on an airplane so thoroughly wasted. AF needs to eliminate that area and put a stand-up bar, like L'Espace, or a lounge area (as on KE's new big blue birds).
