Agreed. This points up the question, why are they bothering with the business card nonsense in the first place? I mean, vistaprint.com will make and send you 250 business cards for free (aside from shipping), and I'm sure you can have just about anything you like printed on them.
But since the TSA has chosen to go down that route -- or as we legal types say, they've "opened the door" -- apparently my business card
does matter to them.
Alternatively, I suppose I could present my law license, but in my state, it's just a little piece of cardboard. When I did criminal defense and visited clients in jail, I'd have to back it up with a photo ID. And unlike the average SPOTnik, the jail guards know what a law license looks like.
