Okay - here's the update.

Looks like the pilots' industrial action is causing havoc to CX's timetable.

SYD:
AUG 1 - AUG 31, CX is operating only 1 flight a day (CX111 and that is on the new A340-300) The J class however, looks like it has the old J configuration. 2 rows in the front cabin behind F class and then 4 rows behind the galley.

SEP 1 - SEP 30, CX will then offer the additional flight, CX101 which will be flown by the new A330-300 with F class. Don't know about the J configuration.

OCT 1 onwards, CX 111 will then be changed back to a 747-400 and CX 101 will remain A330.

Looks like the Airbus will be renamed with different codes for seating configurations.

JFK operated aircraft (the nonstop, though we don't know where this aircraft is going) -
has 2 rows behind F class, and then 8 rows behind the galley - with an enlarged J class. This aircraft is aptly named 34J.

SFO and YYZ operated aircraft and named 34C. This has 2 rows behind F class and 3 rows behind the galley.

The SYD operated flight will be 34S, and that has 2 rows of side seats but 3 rows of centre 2 behind F class, and 4 rows behind the galley.

FCO, AKL and JNB will be continuing with the old sleeper seats in First. It could be till early next year before they will be eventually all reconfigured for First Betsy seats.
