Definitely 747 especially in your favorite row 2 seat! The major attraction is that being in the nose of the plane very few people would walk by. The feeling in the cabin is also quieter and more of a classy feeling. In the A340, you don't get that feeling and more people will walk from bus to the front (especially the FA's).
