I have a BA codeshare flight on Malev metal next month and could use some direction so i can select seats before I travel. I'm flying economy class BUD-LGW.

I have a primary PNR. This is shadowed by a secondary PNR which I assume was generated for the Malev sector. Booking is ticketed on 125 stock. Following advice gleaned from others, I have played with Finnair's website but unfortunately it is unable to load a seat map for the Malev segment. I have tried both PNRs.

So what are my check-in options? Malev routinely opens OLCI at T-minus 36 hours. Does this apply to BA codeshare bookings? If not, though not ideal, I suppose I can make a choice from whatever seats are available when I physically check-in at Budapest.
