Congrats on your anniversary, we had a commitment ceremony on ours, that was 8 years ago, maybe one day we can make it legal !!!!!
VS used to be a great airline, I was very proud to work there when I did. Standards have been slipping for a long time by all accounts I hear. One day Australia will catch up and we'll have a 'legal' ceremony option.

At least out of the gloom of VS the other carriers provided you with an excellent service. I know who to fly with when I come to SYD.
Luckily this sector was paid for with miles! Thank goodness it was the first not the last sector. Defo consider CX or QF when you come to SYD

Your VS experience is very disappointing. I've always wanted to try it, but I've heard so many bad things recently. One positive though, it was good that you were able to dine together in Business Class. Not many carriers offer that.
I'm appalled at the crew member who took no interest in your partner's illness. That's really terrible. I hope that you complained.
Although I have never been there, I have to agree with your comments about the CX F lounge, it doesn't look that special at all. Of course, the onboard product makes up for it. A trip on CX F is top of my 'to-do' list!
How did you find the QF F seat compared to CX?
Looking forward to more trips from you two ^.
Thanks Matt. The surprise was pretty cool if I do say so myself.

VS crew were just the pits, but we didn't let it ruin our trip. The dual dining option on VS is good, although it is a bit room restrictive. In F on both CX and QF there was oodles of room to dine comfortably.
QF suite compares very favourably with the CX one. In some ways I would say the QF suite is a little better in that the feet/leg space at the foot end is much roomier and doesn't taper in like CX, but then, CX you have your own wardrobe, so it's too close to call.
So glad you are all enjoying the report.
